Youna Kwak is a poet, translator, and teacher of French and Creative Writing, born in Seoul, Korea and based in Southern California. She worked as a documentary film editor in New York City before receiving an M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Montana and a Ph.D. in
French from New York University.
